Diploma of Youth Justice

Studying a CHC50513 Diploma of Youth Justice will give you the tools and knowledge to make a real difference in the lives of young people who have, or are at risk of offending. You’ll learn a wide range of skills from managing service response to young people in crisis, to working in the youth justice environment, to learning how to work effectively with clients with complex alcohol, and/or drug issues.

Course details:

The CHC50513 Diploma of Youth Justice is a 12 month course consisting of 14 units of study that are broken up into 3 major clusters of learning.

* Students completing the CHC50513 Diploma of Youth Justice are also required to complete 240 hours of unpaid vocational placement which will form part of their assessment.

Eligibility Requirements:

Students need to be eligible to apply for a Suitability for Working with Children Check and/or a Criminal History Check, depending on the state in which they live/work. Candidates must also be at least 20 years of age.

The tuition fees for this course are $10,000.
