Course details:

The CHC51712 Diploma of Counselling is an 18 month course consisting of 17 units of study that are broken up into 4 major clusters of learning.

Eligibility requirement:

Students need to be eligible to apply for a Suitability for Working with Children Check and/or a Criminal History Check, depending on the state in which they live/work. All students must be at least 20 years of age and need to have a Senior Secondary Certificate of Education or be able to demonstrate competency in an approved ‘Language, Literacy and Numeracy Skills’ assessment.
