Student Entry Procedure

Thank you for considering one of our listed courses. A diploma level qualification or above can greatly improve your skills and knowledge, making you more valuable to employers within your chosen industry. Successful enrolment in a course takes a few steps. The 7 steps to complete your enrolment are outlined below. Step 1: Complete an application form either in hard copy or online.

Step 2: Attend an information session with a Course Advisor.

Step 3: Complete a Student Profile. This profile tells us all about you and your study needs. It will be assessed by our Pre-Enrolment Team.

Step 4: Complete a Student Enrolment Agreement. This agreement will ensure that you understand everything that you need to know about the course that you are applying to study.

Step 5: Our pre-enrolment team will review your student profile. This may include verification of prior learning, and / or undertaking a Language Literacy and Numeracy skills assessment. The assessment tools that we use/accept to assess your literacy and assessment are:

  • Core Skills Profile for Adults (ACER)
  • Basic Key Skills Builder (bksb)(Australian Edition)
  • Sero Institute LLN Assessment Tool Version 3
  • Skills Warm-up April 2016 v 1.0

If you are successful, the pre-enrolment team will review your documentation and if all in order you will be enrolled and sent all of the information you need to know to begin your learning journey.

Step 6: You will be invited to attend an orientation workshop with your trainer that will kick-start your studies and prepare you for success in your chosen course.

Step 7: Depending on your chosen payment option we may require further documentation. A Course Advisor will discuss this with you at Step 2.
